As we approach the holy month of Ramadan, our hearts are filled with joy and a deep sense of gratitude for all that we have.
At AR Projects, we have the privilege of serving ALLAH in providing our services to communities and make a difference in people's lives.
How it started
Two years ago, this land was nothing but overgrown and forgotten. Today, Our Ummah Village is a thriving sanctuary in Wobulenzi, Uganda—a home for orphans, a place of education, and a centre of faith. This journey started with two young boys, fleeing a snake-infested mud hut after their mother, struggling with severe mental health challenges, could no longer care for them. They had nowhere to go. We built this village for so many more like them. What began as a single masjid has now expanded into a safe space for 19 orphans, a school, a kitchen serving daily meals, and a community hub that has transformed lives.
What We’ve Achieved So Far
A Home for Orphans

A Thriving Masjid & Education Centre

Our masjid serves as the heart of the village, providing daily prayers, Quranic education, and community support.

Hundreds of hot meals & food parcels distributed to widows, the elderly, and struggling families.

Over 20 individuals embraced Islam during Ramadan 2024.
Clean Water & Hygiene Facilities

A fully operational WUDU facility and clean water supply, ensuring hygiene and dignity for all.
Our Next Goal: A Safe Home for Orphan Girls
Right now, our orphan girls do not have a dedicated space of their own. Many come from extreme poverty, where hygiene and self-care were never prioritised.
We are teaching them dignity, self-worth, and personal care, but they need a secure space to thrive.
What We Need to Build
